The Board of Investments (BOI) announced on Friday that, during the first ten months of 2023, its total approved investments had surpassed P1 trillion.

The BOI said in a statement that after the new offshore wind power projects of Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets Fund (CI NMF) Corporation, which are estimated to be worth P329.74 billion, were approved, approved investments reached P1.07 trillion.

The 1,000 megawatt (MW) San Miguel Bay Offshore Wind Power Project offshore of Camarines Norte and Sur, the 650 megawatt (MW) Samar Norte Offshore Wind Power Project offshore of Samar, and the 350 megawatt (MW) Dagupan Offshore Wind Power Project offshore of Pangasinan and La Union are just a few of the offshore wind power projects that the Dutch company would operate as part of the CI NMF project, which would create 230 jobs for Filipinos overall.
