On October 12, 2023, a high-ranking official from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) attended the Korea-Philippine Infrastructure and Plant Forum and the Korea-Asean Project Plaza in Taguig City, organized by the Korean Embassy in Manila and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain represented Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan at this event, which aimed to foster collaboration between the governments of South Korea and the Philippines in the field of infrastructure development, with the participation of construction and engineering companies from both countries.
