DANAO CITY, Philippines — Danao City's local administration hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, November 23, 2023, marking the beginning of two revolutionary projects that would soon emerge in this northern Cebu city.

The construction of a housing village and satellite market in barrio Dunggoan, a joint initiative of the Danao City administration, Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, and a cement plant located in the same barrio, was the subject of a ceremony on Thursday.
