Roxas Blvd. roads in Manila set for 9-month rehab

MANILA – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced Tuesday that a nine-month rehabilitation of damaged roads along Roxas Boulevard’s southbound lane will begin on Feb. 26.

According to the DPWH – South Manila District Engineering Office, the restoration will take place between Quirino and Vito Cruz, with completion expected by Nov. 17.

To minimize traffic disruptions, only one affected lane will be closed at a time, keeping other lanes open for motorists. The DPWH advised road users to utilize available lanes or take alternate routes to avoid congestion.

The agency also assured the public that efforts will be made to complete the project ahead of schedule and reopen closed lanes as soon as work is finished.
